The Town of Belvidere
Known as the County Seat of Warren County, the town of Belvidere is a quiet yet bustling community nestled n the rolling hills of Western NJ along the Delaware river. It is close to major highways 46, 31, 22, 78, 80, growing communities, surrounding towns, shopping and sits just an hour and ten minutes outside of NYC.
As the county seat of Warren, Belvidere is home to the fully functioning Historic Superior Courthouse. The Courthouse is just a block away on the quaint town square surrounded by grand Victorians and Colonials.
The Apollo Building
The historic Apollo Building is believed to be built in 1840. Originally it was used as a storehouse but just five years after the building's inception this unique centerpiece landmark underwent its first transformation becoming the home of the County’s voice in the office for the Belvidere Apollo, Warren County’s long running newspaper with an ironically equal storied past. The paper is now known as the Warren Reporter and resides in the local hamlet of Hackettstown. The building has also been used as a Pharmacy, Giftshop, Malt and Candy store and the home of a prominent Judge.
