Carrabelle House
The entire house was built of wood, tongue and groove walls right up to the ceiling. Records for the property located in Apalachicola, the county seat date from September 1883. These indicate that the land where the house was eventually built was sold by Julia and Joseph Daly to M. Addir Duval for $125. M. Addir Duval sold the land in July 1898 to Frank and Ethel Wakefield for $100. The Wakefields built the house in 1899. Between 1910 and the present, there have been four owners.
