Inspired from the decorations of the post Civil War's New South and colorful Victorian architecture, Amethyst Inn at Sarah's Garden offers a timeless new, family friendly look into Savannah travel and tourism. Located "North of Gaston" near Forsyth Park, the happily vibrant "Painted Ladies" Victorian Mansion (c. 1888) sets the stage for a character rich experience, a sense of homecoming for many of our loyal guests who return again and again. Savor new trends, new foods, and a family welcome while you still enjoy the certain history and culture that is embedded into the soul of the Landmark Savannah Historic District.

Our most recent addition to the Amethyst Inn is the Lantana Room. It is a small room, but cozy and bright located next to the Rose Room. There is a queen bed, antique dresser and a sitting chair. There is a small television and ample-sized closet. And, of course, a ceiling fan -- a must in Savannah. The private bathroom has a shower, plus a vanity sink is in the bedroom. The Lantana Room is one of four bedrooms located off a central sitting area. In this room there is a small refrigerator supplied with soft drinks, complimentary to our guests.
