Enchanting English Cottage
With its ivy covered stucco walls and picturesque roofing, this cottage was one of the first homes to extend a welcome to those entering the tree-covered “Silk Stocking Row” of this rural farming community. The Mayberry house was the pride of the town's leading business man, rancher, and politician. He built this home in 1932, then remodeled and enlarged it in 1948, giving it the English cottage appearance that endears it to the community today.
