The Leggett House
Completed in 1901, the Leggett House located in historic Carthage, Missouri is a testament to quality craftsmanship.
This beautiful house was constructed entirely of locally quarried Carthage Stone that was cut and fitted on the grounds of the property.
Truly stunning, the woodwork throughout the house is all handcrafted from Cortison Oak, Birdseye Maple and Pine. Out of the 82 windows, 11 are curved glass. This house is also host to 5 fireplaces and a magnificent fountain that was hand chiseled from Carthage Marble.

The most exquisite of them all, this room boasts a lavish queen size canopy bed, a lush settee, gorgeous fireplace as well as a very large private bathroom.

This room, trimmed in pine with an antique double bed and vanity is one of the most private of the rooms. It contains a magnificent screened in porch, a marble sink and is just across the hall from the bathroom.

Uniquely trimmed in Bird's Eye Maple, this picturesque room houses an ornate queen size canopy bed and an array of stunning antique pieces.

This romantic and restful room contains a beautiful queen size canopy bed and lovely settee. This room also features a private bath.
