Historic Victorian Home in NH's White Mountains
Bethlehem Depot is one of the most historic homes in the area. Built in 1881, it served as the railroad station for the Village of Bethlehem till about 1925. Four U.S. Presidents (and many other notables) passed through. There is a twin railroad station in the Village of Maplewood NH.The depot was converted into a grand summer cottage after the trains stopped, and has been lovingly restored over the last several years. It has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, classic Victorian details on the outside, and 13 foot ceilings and other period architectural details on the inside.
It is one block from Bethlehem NH's Main Street, famous for its restaurants, antique stores, golf and tennis. Bethlehem is in the heart of NH’s White Mountains recreation area, and is within 15 minutes to skiing (Bretton Woods and Cannon Mountain).
