Main House (2400 sq. ft. plus 1700 sq. ft. unfinished bmt./workshop). This faces the street; it has 3 bedrooms, with various extra rooms, 2 full baths, and a large studio/workshop in the basement. There are hardwood floors throughout the first floor. You enter the house through an enclosed porch, and then proceed into the living room, which has a fireplace and arched doorway leading to dining room. From the dining room you can step into a sunroom, or into the large old world storybook style kitchen. The kitchen has an exterior door to the driveway (this makes bringing in groceries easy). If you are in the sunroom you may go through another door that leads into the 10' x 15' screen porch, from there you may walk out onto the large 15’ x 25’ deck, and proceed down some steps onto the patio with large elephant fountain and into the lush backyard fully enclosed by stone walls backed by tall trees, and a seven foot wooden fence.
There are also two bedrooms and a tiled bath on the main floor. Upstairs is a large central family room or playroom, a small office, the third bedroom, and a full bath.
The full height basement is unfinished, but is quite large, with a concrete floor; it has a washer and dryer in it. The basement leads into an above ground extension (under the main floor deck which is made out of reinforced concrete). This area is perfect for a studio or workshop; French doors from this area lead out into the back yard, which is very private, surrounded by stone walls and a high fence in the rear (see composite photo), all surrounded by trees.
Cottage #1 (630 sq. ft.). From the backyard of the main house you can go through an arched gate in the wooden fence along the back of the yard and step into the garden of the first charming cottage, which sits under the canopy of a large pecan tree. There are stone walls with built in planters around this little house. Inside is a studio/one bedroom unit with central heat and air, hardwood floors, and Mexican tile in the kitchen (This cottage, painted green, is in one of the composite photos).
If you go up one set of stairs from the yard of the first cottage, you can enter the private yard of the back cottage; another set of stairs goes up into the side yard, which has a large communal garden with raised beds and a large grassy area.
Cottage #2 (815 sq. ft.). At the very rear behind cottage #1 is the second cottage, a whimsical one-bedroom house (This cottage, partially covered with ivy, is shown in a photo). It has a fireplace in the multi-sided living room and a wonderful mosaic shower in the bathroom. The terraced yard is extremely private. From this yard you may enter a small courtyard with a turret shaped stone wall and a fountain (shown in a composite photo). Through the gate, you enter the communal yard/garden, and find yourself at the foot of some wide blue stairs. In front of you stands a yellow, two-story duplex:
Cottage #3 (up/down duplex; (1110 sq. ft. up, 890 sq. ft. down). The ground floor level has one bedroom and full bath. If you go up the blue stairs you will find yourself in another raised private garden enclosed by a 7’ wooden fence. You enter the upstairs apartment on this level, directly into the living room. This upstairs apartment has 2 bedrooms with hardwood floors, a full bath, a large enclosed porch overlooking the communal garden, and a large kitchen with pantry.
In front is the communal tennant’s yard, which has a large raised bed gardening area, separated by a wood fence from the tenant’s driveway, with lots of parking (the photos show one view looking out toward the street, and one view looking in from the street, showing the yellow duplex at the back). The main house has its own driveway (one photo looks from the kitchen door, across both driveways).
