1899 InnThe 1899 Inn is a small bed-and-breakfast in Deadwood’s historic Presidential District. Our three guest rooms have views of the ponderosa forests of the Black Hills, yet the inn is less than a five-minute walk from the saloons, gaming halls and shops of downtown Deadwood. Built at the end of the 19th century by a wealthy merchant family, the 1899 Inn is a historic restoration-in-progress. While the home retains much of its original stained glass, light fixtures and vintage hardware, guests can witness restoration of trim, plaster walls and double-hung windows across the house. |
