The Hotel catered to traveling salesmen in it's earlier days. Currently a private residence and Antique shop. People come from miles away to enjoy Heritage Days the first Saturday in December. Visitors are encouraged to take the "Blue Banner Tour Of Homes". Everyone enjoys seeing people in period dress. Then on the first weekend in March come celebrate the "Strawberry Festival" at the park nearby. Also the 46 mile long Withlacoochee Bike Trail is just a stones throw away. The trail corridor runs though quaint downtowns and the Withlacoochee State Forest.
