Glencairn, above all a home, was also designed to house Pitcairn's outstanding collection of medieval objects, many of which had been purchased as inspirational models for the craftsmen at the Cathedral. After Mildred Pitcairn passed away in 1979, Glencairn was given to the Academy of the New Church to house its museum collection. Glencairn is now a National Historic Landmark which serves as a museum of the history of religion, serving the Academy of the New Church schools and the broader public.

Glencairn Museum has tours Tuesdays through Fridays at 2:30pm and on weekends at 1, 1:45, 2:30 and 3:00pm.
Admission for tours: Adults: $10.00; Seniors (65+)/Students with I.D. $8.00; children 3 years and under free. Tours are half price for Basic Museum members, and free for Gold Museum members.

Tour space is limited and so reservations are recommended. Call 267-502-2990 or email tours@glencairnmuseum.org to book your spot.
