Victorian Marvel

A Victorian Marvel, once cared for by the Marchese family. Although the pictures show the need for a little TLC, the character still shines through!

This gorgeous Queen Anne Victorian, with Romanesque aesthetics was built in 1889 by George F. Barber. In 1922, after already having one owner, it was purchased by Charles and Antoinette Marchese where they happily resided until 1954. Several changes have been made to both the inside and outside of the home since that time. The balustrades were removed, and much of the original details of the home have fallen to disrepair. An interesting fact: the flat topped turret is actually original to the house design and not a product of poor renovations.
