Family home or Vacation Rental

River Rose Cottage is located in downtown Damascus, Va. Damascus is called "the friendliest town on the Appalachian Trail". The Trail comes right in front of the cottage!
The Virginia Creeper Bicycle Trail is one block away. Tourists come to ride this beautiful 34 mile trail from White Top Mountain to Damascus and then on to Abingdon, Va.
Our charming home is located in the area of town where guests like to stay: near the restaurants, the bike shuttle services, churches, post office, and trails.
There are no motels in our little town of 1,000 people so guests usually stay in Bed and Breakfasts, vacation rentals or inns. Our home has been a private residence and it has also been used for a "home away from home" for tourists coming to this beautiful mountain town.
