The Lake House

Located just an hour from Portland, in Waterford, Maine in the foothills of the New England White Mountains. Built in the 1790's.The Lake House was a Bed and Breakfast, surrounded by white clapboard houses, all of which are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The Lake House evolved from tavern to gracious inn.
