POST CARD VICTORIAN IN THE POCONOS

The house was featured on the front page of the local newspaper few years ago for for its Christmas decorations.
This Grand Old Victorian was built circa 1896 for a local merchant. It is actually a "post card" home, as it was featured on post cards from the turn of the century. You'll notice that its beauty hasn't changed in the least over the years. We also note that the house was featured on the front page of the local newspaper a few years back for holiday decoration.

The Dining room contains a ceiling to floor built in hutch as well as a separate built-in wall cabinet. Both are tiger oak and contain colored pressed tin as backing. There is also a tiger oak dumbwaiter hidden behind the free standing hutch.

The upstairs bathroom contains a cast iron, clawfoot tub from the turn of the century. It is in amazing condition. This bathroom also contains a pedestal sink.

The detached two car garage is constucted of ornate brick. It contains its original slate roof. The wood ceiling is tongue in groove.

The kitchen was newly remodeled this year. It contains 5 inch wide plank Brazilian Tamarando hardwood flooring. It also contains new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a Kohler sink and faucet.

You can see the view from our wrap around porch. We sit next to an elementary school with a playground adjacent to our backyard.

You can see the top of the line Kohler undermount double basin sink and the Kohler brushed nickel faucet. You will also notice the granite countertops.

This is really a "postcard" home. This post card dates back to the turn of the century with a postmark of 1906. As you cand see, the house's grandeur and beauty remains undisturbed a century later.
