The 7th Sister is on the Historic Register for SC. Originally built for the Town Banker when cotton was "king", the entire home is handcrafted with beadboard and mahogany WALLS and CEILINGS. Gingerbread and Corbels are just a few of the architectural elements that make this a fine example of Victorian craftsmanship of yore.

The 7th Sister, classic folk victorian-circa 1898

Small-town living in the quaint village of Clio SC. Once the hub of southern cotton commerce at the turn of the century, this sleepy little village is within easy distance of;
Charlotte NC 1.5 hours
Myrtle Beach SC 1.25 hours
Charleston SC 2.5 hours
Florence SC airport 45 minutes
Golf courses are nearby as are state parks and recreational facilities.

The future of Clio is on the upswing. Future construction of I73 from Michigan to Myrtle Beach will pass with 2.5 miles of Clio.

The home is sited on a 1.25 acre lot in the Historic District. Painted in four pastel shades of green, soft cream and a red accent, the home shows stunningly. All rooms have stained beadboard and mahogany WALLS and CEILINGS with intricate designs. SIX fireplaces with ornate mantels and of course, heartpine floors finish the interior handsomely.

The grounds.

A dedicated,fenced vegetable garden that measures approximately 60x60 feet yields strawberries, blueberries, squash, tomatoes and virtually any vegetable you want. The soil is fertile and there is a well water system for irrigation.
Also in the spring there are 40+ azaleas that
are ablaze with color. Magnolias and Crepe Myrtles grace the property.
