Privacy and Tranquility!

Hardwick is a rural community located in Central Massachusetts, on the eastern shore of the Quabbin Reservoir and about half-way between Worcester and Springfield. It has reasonable access to Boston via Rt. 2 or the Massachusetts Turnpike, and is about 1 hour and 10 minutes from the Hartford/Springfield Bradley International Airport.

Hardwick is a small town of 2,900 with a very strong sense of community. Each August our quintessential Town Common is host to the Hardwick Community Fair, the oldest agricultural fair in the country.

For the past 20 years, this property has been used as a hobby farm for sheep. Open pastures are surrounded by 5 strands of high-tensile electric fence, keeping the livestock in and the wildlife out!

There is a conservation easement on the entire property. protecting approximately three-quarters of a mile of road frontage. The easement is held by the East Quabbin Land Trust, which has protected much of the surrounding properties as well.
