Historic property, once the First Methodist Church in Enfield that was given to the congregation in the mid 1800's by Governor Branch. The property was later converted to a fine residence circa 1875. The granddaughter of Gov. Branch was an active member of the existing Church next door and gave accounts of this home's rich history.
