Oldest Property In Carver County
Original summer kitchen was restored in 1997 with an addition in 2006 and has a large fireplace. This home offers authentic stonework also.Floors are all original wood plank with the exception of the Keeping Room. Keeping Room floors and ceiling are from reclaimed lumber from an Amish barn in Indiana. The carriage barn was built in 2005 and features upper storage area.
The hand-split cedar shake roof is new and attics are all newly insulated.
The electrical is new and inspected. New Lenox furnace and central air installed.
All new fixtures (with eception to restored antique Circa 1850 tin bathtub) and plumbing. New hot water heater, water softener and pressure tank.
Doors are all original with the exception of the handcrafted Batten board doors with iron thumblatches.
Enjoy the acreage filled with herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruit trees.
