The fourteen room wood structure features batten board siding and gingerbread trim. This home’s interior features hard wood floors; one parquet, a fireplace, open curved stairway and one enclosed stairway which lead to the servant’s quarters. Many of the windows on the first floor are pained floor to ceiling. And the view from the inside overlooks wooded areas; giving this home much privacy in a peaceful setting.

Second floor features four bedrooms; two are 14’x16’ large, a setting area in the center. a large full bath with claw foot tub. Two small rooms in the servant’s quarters make excellent storage. The main floor features a large entry which leads to the parlor, the large family room with fireplace or to the library. The three doors feature unique security locks from the 1800’s that secured the private from the servants. Beyond the parlor is a large formal dining room. And outside the backdoor is a screened in porch which makes a delightful added dining area in the spring through fall. This room overlooks a shade covered patio.

The yard is amazing with its established perennial beds featuring over two hundred hostas of different varieties. Among the many trees are nine spring blooming varieties. And a small garden pond feature in the side yard adds to the abidance of the serene garden room. There are plenty of blooms from spring, to fall.
