Located in Central New York, part of the “Tughill Region” having an approximate population of 2,600 in the Camden Village and a total of 7,000 for the Camden Township. The Camden downtown business district is lined with charming mid 1800’s brick row buildings containing gift shops, restaurants, hardware stores, coffee house, produce, local foods, home made candy and much more. The Camden area offers a wide variety of activities including hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, groomed snowmobile trails & hiking are just few of the along with several local golf courses. If salmon fishing is your game, Pulaski is less than 30 minutes away. The Village of Camden has it’s own police department of full & part time patrolman and also a sub-station for the Oneida County Sheriffs Department. The Camden Fire Department is totally volunteer with many wonderful dedicated firefighters and emt’s. Camden also has a 24 hour Town Ambulance Service and there are two area hospitals within 30 minutes. Several local medical facilities include doctors, dentists, chiropractors, podiatrist & eye care right here in the village.

Camden Central School District: Offers a total of 4 elementary schools, 3 are located throughout the rural portions of the district. Camden Elementary, Middle School & High Schools are all located in the Camden Village and are within walking distance. Bodies of Water For Recreation: Oneida Lake, Lake Ontario, Salmon River, Mad River, Fish Creek, Salmon Reservoir, Lake Delta, Barge Canal System & many small stocked streams & rivers scattered throughout the area.

State forestland: Just minutes away from 18,000 acres of for hunting, hiking & fishing.

Our best kept secret: Forest Park, a 125 acre retreat, located in the Village of Camden, offering paved roads for walking through the woods, Mad River & Fish Creek for fishing, rent one of the many different size pavilions for family outings. Forest Park is closed to vehicle traffic in the winter months, cross country skiing & snowshoeing on the groomed roads are great ways to see nature.

Visit Sylvan Beach Amusement Park in the summer for children’s rides, many great choices for restaurants, taverns & summer activities such as a weekly car show and motorcycle show.

Feeling Lucky? Play at the Turning Stone Casino & Resort for Gaming, Great Shows & Superior Golfing at the 3 premiere golf courses and 2 nine hole courses, just 30 minutes away.
