Political History

This unique log home in Rural Nash County is the site of many meetings of NC Politics. The home was built by NC Congressman Tim Valentine's father who sold the home to become the Justice of the NC Supreme Court. Terry Sanford visited the home many times and Roy Wilder worked for gov. Kerr Scott.
Roy's sister was the local Editor for the newspaper for many years in Spring Hope, NC. Roy was auther of "You All Spoken Here"
The home has been in the Wilder family for over 80 years and is a piece of history.
