There are original hardwood floors and venetian plaster throughout the house. The family room and basement bathroom are carpeted and the kitchen and remaining bathrooms are tiled.

The home is made of brick and stone and has a slate roof. Out back is a stone pavilion along with gardens and a couple of beautiful old trees.

First floor consists of foyer (14x8) with grand staircase, living room (27x15) with gas fireplace, dining room (17x15), kitchen (20x8), den (10x8), library (15x12) with built in wood shelves, a half bath, back servent staircase, and front and back staircases that go to the basement.

Second floor consists of master bedroom (17x15) with full bath, bedroom 2 (16x15) with entry from both hall and master bedroom, bedroom 3 (12x10), bedroom 4 (13x12), another full bath, another den (10x8) with built in shelves, 2 built in dressers in front hallway, and a back staircase going to the 3rd floor.

Third floor consists of bedroom 5, bedroom 6, bedroom 7, full bath, storage room, and attic access. (rooms are good size - just haven't measured yet)

Basement consists of finished large family room with built ins, finished half bath, large unfinished laundry room, utility room, workshop, and two storage rooms.

The home was built in 1930 for William Neckerman, superintendent of the tube department at the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company. The home is one of many large old houses along the avenue.
