Built in 1904, the exterior is constructed of fieldstone and cedar shakes; is professionally landscaped and stands on one of Thornburg's most private lots, overlooking the Chartiers Valley. Offers a 20 ft wide oak window seat nestled into a turret, alot of the original oak floors, windows & casements, moldings and leaded glass windows. Our large deck is surrounded by mature trees and provides complete privacy 3 seasons a year. The 3 wood burning fireplaces are in the FR, and in the LR & DR, which face each other. The kitchen in newer with cherry/granite/stainless. The master bath has a whirlpool/shower, solid oak vanity & closets and a sky light. The 2nd full bath has just been elegantly remodeled. The finished part of the basement consists of a newly carpted gameroom/office/den type room, and a mud room with quarry tile. The rest of the basement has a utilty/storage room and a large 9x14 cedar closet.
There is an extremely generous amount of storage space in our home.
