MOBJACK BAY VIEWS, BUILT IN 1902
When you drive down to Mobjack you already have the lovely East River on your left side, and the North River on your right. However, suddenly you come to the end of the peninsula and there you see the endless Mobjack/Chesapeake bay, water water water stretching out in front of view. Then you realize you are in the perfect small Victorian village, which has withstood many storms and even the waters of mighty Isabelle did not even get close to this community."Mobjack Bay views" have so much charm, with large waterfront porches, large windows, high ceilings, hardwood floors, manifold fire place mantles, large rooms, all a "oldhouses" fan could hope for.
You enter by the front porch into a charming foyer with the stairway leading to the second floor. Off this foyer/hallway you will find a den, the large pallor, a separate dining room, a small full bathroom, huge kitchen with granite counter tops and breakfast area, and a master suite with Vermont stove. There is a small servants' staircase going from the kitchen to the second floor.
Upstairs you will find a large landing with 3 large bedrooms, bathroom, sowing room with balcony and a small guest room.
From the waterfront porches you can enjoy the bay breezes and enjoy real southern living. The house also features a huge deck with wonderful water views, and a new pier.
