Describe this National Register 1892 Queen Anne home in Historic Louisiana, Missouri.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Adam Wald House, this large 1892 Queen Anne home was built as the upper middle class residence of Adam Wald an immigrant from Bavaria, Germany. The industrious Mr. Wald became a very successful merchant.

In his substantial and well appointed home, he and his wife entertained important guests like William Jennings Bryan the famous orator, 1896 Democratic Party Presidential Candidate, and Woodrow Wilson’s Secretary of State.
