Property is know as "Little Greenwood", a 1906 Colonial revival House, is one the the four Finney Houses of Churchville on the National Register of Historic Places. The house is featured in several books and publications, known for its splendor during its time, and the gardens. The 21 acre estate has hughe Poplars, as well as many rare varieties, such a Ginko and the Maryland state Champion Yellowwood (which is also registered with the National list of champions)
Owners have all the original blueprints dated 1906. The home has cypress siding, walk-in closets in every bedroom, five 2nd floor bedrooms, 4 full baths, 2 half baths, governess' quarters, maid's quarters, butler's kitchen, original fireplaces with ornate woodwork, white-etched oak wood flooring throughout the entire house, sitting room, large library, large dining room, the caretaker's quarters with a full bath and original cast tub, a large wrap-around porch and 2 car garage. The music room features 2 chandeliers and a turn of the century pipe organ, a kitchen and its own heating/cooling and water system.
