Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Virginia Historic Landmark. The brick work was built by the same craftsmen chosen by Thomas Jefferson to work on the University of Virginia.

Willow Grove is located in the Historic Town of Orange, Virginia. The County of Orange is filled with historic architecture including James Madison's Home, Montpelier.

Willow Grove is located across the street from the prestigious young mens prep. school: Woodberry Forest and is approx. 80 miles south of Washington DC.

Highway 15 is also known as the "Journey Through Hallowed Grounds" which is underway to promote the historical trail from Penn. to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello.
