Abraham Leech Circa 1721 Farmhouse

The oldesd section of this historic home, circa 1721, was built by Abraham Leech, Grandson of Toby Leech. Toby Leech was a Quaker who came here from Cheltenham, England and bought a land grant from William Penn. The later additions of the house, circa 1760, 1800 and 1924 all used the same stone quarried from Chestnut Hill and kept the same ambiance. Local notable families lived here throughout the centuries. The spring house and stone carriage house still stand.
