General

This circa 1840 historic home was Victorianized in 1897 by owners, Rogers Bros., builders of local churches and famed house-movers. Extant 4-bay barn boarded draft horses and includes their former workshop.

Carefully restored to original, the wrap-around porch greets you with warmth and tranquility. As you enter through the sugar pine front door with beveled glass, the ornate mahogany curved-rail staircase with large walnut newell post leads you to three bedrooms and two baths on second level.

The formal living and dining rooms boast bow windows, which drench the home with sunlight. The back stairs, off dining room, bring you to extra 2-fl. bath with private 3-fl. bedroom. Step-up vented attic can be used for storage or extra room.

In summer enjoy a large in-ground pool set into terraced herringbone brick patio/deck w/paver lighting. Comfortable slate side porch doubles as an air-lock in winter due to interchangable screens and mylar panels. Also in winter, barn substitutes as a 3-car garage.

Easily accessible to all major interstates via NJ Turnpike (Exit 7A) as well as New York and Philadelphia by nearby rail links.
