This coming Sunday, October 23rd, (1949), will be a great celebration of the dedication and opening of the official home for displaced persons, acquired by the Polish American Congress to Illinois. 4246 N. As the photo testifies, the House for Displaced Persons is impressive, surrounded by a beautiful veranda, which are not found next to the residences and apartment houses nearby, so that it is obvious and you do not need to look for it to find its number 4246.

Finally arriving by cars or trams, he notices from the place, numerous guests who will gather in front of the house on the sidewalk and the surrounding garden and on the veranda, so that the house can be viewed not only inside, but also the name. So it will be noisy and lively from late at night, and especially in the evening in the garden by the bonfire, where a beautiful and richly varied program will be conducted by Mrs. Wanda Rozmarek, in which our youth of both sexes will perform...
