HistoryThe house was designed by James Maurice Ingram, a prolific architect who worked in Tudor Revival and Colonial Revival styles. Covington Street has one of the greatest concentration of Ingram homes in the city. The neighborhood has many stone houses built in the 1930s and 1940s. Original drawings of many of the houses are located in the Kentucky Library.
Recent ImprovementsHouse has been expanded to the back, with second floor master suit with bath and downstairs sunroom. Current owners have added a screen porch in which to enjoy the large double backyard.
New roof added in 2018. Heating/AC system replaced in last five years. Tankless hot water heater.
