History

This marvelous home built in 1880 offers the character, dignity and charm one could expect
in a historic home. It's been told each level of this home was added a year at a time to allow proper settling. In viewing this home it does not show evidence of wall and ceiling settling cracks one typically sees in vintage homes. The attic was designed to house a ballroom, but was never finished. It could certainly be finished if desired, as it has nice natural light and adequate ceiling height. This home was carefully and methodically built to last. In touring the home it definitely feels solid.
