Elizabethtown's Offerings

The school in this town is small (K-12) and is located in the center of town, next to the Grocery Store, the Drug Store, and across the street from the Convenience store and the community park. Just down the road is a 9 hole Golf Course, and 2 different Car Dealerships. Within a mile is a third Car Dealership. There are four restaurants in town, but their hours all vary: one in town that is just breakfast and lunch weekdays, breakfast very early on weekends; one in town that caters to the Pizza and take-out crowd; one in town that caters to the more discerning tastes; and one more two miles out of town that caters to a very general crowd and opens at 4 to 9. The area is laid back with little out-of-the-ordinary events, which makes for a peaceful environment.

Elizabethtown is located within 40 minutes to Plattsburgh, NY; 30 minutes to Lake Placid; 60 minutes to Lake George; 60 minutes to the Canadian border; 90 minutes to Burlington, VT; two hours to Albany; five hours to NYC.

There is nearby skiing; hiking; boating; golfing; and all outdoor sports.

Improvements needed

This house is part of an estate sale. It was run as a bed and breakfast for many years. It needs updating and repairs and that has been considered in the asking price. It has beautiful hardwood throughout, pocket doors and so many things that you just cannot get anymore. This house was designed by the Architect firm of Hartwell & Richardson out of Boston, MA. Will consider any reasonable offer.
