Coleman House") is currently run as an inviting Bed & Breakfast in the Southern town of Moultrie, Georgia.Moultrie is in southwest Georgia, and is located in the center of Colquitt County, 24 miles west of Interstate 75, about 200 miles south of Atlanta and 60 miles northeast of Tallahassee, Florida. The city is located between Albany to the northwest, Tifton to the northeast, Thomasville to the southwest, and Valdosta to the southeast.
During the year Moultrie hosts the Sunbelt Ag Expo, 3 automotive swap meets and car corrals, the Calico Craft Show, numerous large and small dive meets as well as many other activities.
Also of interest is the new private medical school being built in Moultrie. It is currently under construction and is expected to open in mid 2019.
Locally known as the "Pecan Hill Inn", this property is serenely picturesque, with pear trees, oak trees, and 20 pecan trees established on over 5 acres.
Currently decorated to capture the true essence of the Victorian Era, the Inn boasts 6 spacious bedrooms with individual fireplaces and large bay windows along with 5 well-appointed bathrooms.
Even though it is large, it is an extremely comfortable home to live in. There is room for large family gatherings and sleep-overs. It has the atmosphere of being in the country yet is only about 3 miles from the old courthouse in downtown Moultrie.
