Moose, deer, trout and birds of every kind share this natural environment yet, thriving downtown Spokane is only twenty minutes away.The log home was handcrafted around the original 1906 farm house by craftsman Oliver LaJoie and owner, Spokane pioneer, John T. Little. Little owned his own Sporting Goods and Hardware store in downtown Spokane. His vision for this one-of-a-kind log home came from all the lodges he visited in the Northwest while traveling and selling fishing and hunting sporting goods. Littlebrook Farm contains all the unique specialties seen in the National Park Lodges, large rock fireplaces, original lighting, handcrafted furnishings cabinetry, staircases, doors, windows, marble floors and walls, stained glass and wood pegged floors to name a few. There truly is no other place like it on earth.
Deneice Little Hastings (grand-daughter of John T.) and Paul Hastings have lived at Littlebrook placing it on the National Registry and lovingly restoring it inside and out to it’s original glory. It virtually is stepping back into a rustic, yet elegant era of the historic lodges of the 20’s 30’s and 40’s.
