1895 Jameson House
The Jameson house was built in the 1890's by W Ed Jameson a land developer and two term mayor of Fulton. The home started our as a Victorian with a wrap-around front porch. In the 1940's the front of the house burned and was repaired with the removal of the wrap-around porch. W Ed Jamesons grandson John purchased the house and lived in it ever since. The home was built as one of the premier homes of the time with maids quarters, a back staircase, a private bath for every bedroom, formal parlor, libray, formal dining room, a grand staircase and much,much more. Some parts of the first floor still have the original inlaid hardwood floor. The second floor has the original oak hardwood floor. Two enclosed porches on the first floor overlook the oversized lot and detached three car garage.Archived in August, 2012
