Down the lane from Taylor Hall is a renovated 1940's tongue & groove, 1-bed/1-bath Guest House with central heat & air. Named Tea Cottage, it holds fairy tale memories for scores of little girls who enjoyed dress-up tea parties in this cozy cottage in the woods. Ideal for a mother-in-law suite or home-based business. It has separate utilities. On the property are several outbuildings: a pint-sized chicken-coop, Banty Shanty; a small Amish-built, wired barn/shop; a two-stall horse barn with attic; two large kennels presently used for storage; and a wired greenhouse. Also there is a 3-stall carport.

It's a 5-minute drive (or less) to the Ocmulgee River boat launch and park, garden center, supermarket, hardware store, dentists, physicians, regional hospital, cancer center, wellness center, walking trail-- and a world class meat market.
Horses and their trainers come from all over the U.S. and Canada to train annually from October to April at the Harness Horse Training facility. The Hawkinsville Harness Festival is a family-friendly event held in the Spring.
Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson IAP is two hours away. (A limo service is available from Taylor Hall to the airport terminal.) We are three hours to both the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. It's a 20-minute drive to I-75 and 30 minutes to Robins Air Force Base and The Museum of Aviation, the second largest in the U.S. Air Force.
