Amazing Home

This beautiful home still has a lot of potential to put your own touch as it has a walk up attic that could be used for a super master suite, game room or whatever you may want! The house had all new mechanical's added in November 2011. New insulation along with new heating system were installed. Floors redone along with ceilings. House is tight for heating or cooling. Interior repainted in 2012 and exterior was done last in 2015.
The house currently has 3 bedrooms which can be expanded to 4 with the remodeling of the 3rd floor as a large master suite. There are 2 full baths on the 2nd floor and a large 1/2 bath on main floor. There is also a toilet and shower in basement.

Home was previously a well known French restaurant for over 17 years. It served also as an elderly care home in its life and previously a B&B. It could be a B&B again or perhaps a private dining facility or used for weddings with its expansive grounds. It is currently a private residence. Over all of its lives, it never lost its original detail and character.

Lanesboro is known as the Playful City in MN along with the B&B Capital of MN. It is currently in the process of becoming an Arts town as there is already a professional theatre which puts on performances March-December. There are galleries and shops in town all which are a short walk from the house. It has vast biking trails along with the Root river where people come from all over to tube the river and vacation during the summer. Numerous festivals and events throughout the year. This is all a short distance from the house. Rochester is about a 35 minute drive from Lanesboro so it is great for those who want to be near a bigger city (3rd largest in MN) but still want an easy going lifestyle. A great school for more individual learning with a good student to teacher ratio.
