Croquet on the Lawn at Sands Point 1938

Once owned by Howard Deitz, this home was host to many famous people, such as: Vivian Leigh, Clark Gable, Geraldine Fitzgerald,.. and many more. The autobiography of Howard Deitz, "Dancing in the Dark": has photos from the 1930's and tells of private parties of the rich and famous, up through 1973.
