Description of Property

Rural location in South Side School District Beaver County PA. One mile from intersection of US route 30 and PA route 151 on route 151. Twenty minutes from Pittsburgh airport; one hour to downtown.

Neighbors are a non-working farm with horse pastures, and a rather upscale housing development. Lots of woods adjacent. Very quiet and a birder's/gardener's delight.

This 1793 2-story oak log cabin 21x19 with post and beam 17x17 1803 addition and 10x15 framed in porch sits on a secluded 4.0 acres with a 1/4 mile long partially paved driveway. Extensive PT decks added.

Two fireplaces (up and down) with stainless steel liners and modern dampers plus third SS liner to oil-burning boiler in basement.Liners, heating, well, electrical(underground from pole 150 feet away), plumbing, windows all new within last 15 years.

1803 post and beam 17x17 addition was taken down and rebuilt on new foundation. I added outside 2x6 walls enclosing original post and beam frame; now exposed on inside. Bay window and bath added.

Property includes 24x40 pole building with concrete floor, full insulation, and separate electrical service.

Property also includes open shed, small frame outbuilding, new drilled well with antique cast-iron hand pump (fully working and lined), original dug stone well, and right of way across several neighbors' property to highway.

No natural gas, sewerage, or city water available. Well water is very good quality. Existing septic tank is "grandfathered".
