Spacious Craftsman Ranch

Picture perfect 1920's 3 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow in downtown Royal Oak.

Enjoy summer evenings on a porch swing on one of two porches.

Inside find a brand new bathroom with hex tile, ceramic tub surround and glass block window. Bead board wainscotting and large linen closet. Vintage charm.

In the bright, sunny kitchen you'll find a newly installed 9 foot ceiling, which replaced a drop ceiling and flourescent light fixture. You'll also find updated cabinets, hardwood floors and an open floor plan with two walls of windows. A wooden bar is available with the house and is great for eating in the kitchen. There's plenty of room for a breakfast table as well.

The dining room and living room are separated by a wide opening and built in book shelves with classic arts and crafts columns.

The living room is spacious with cove mouldings, 9 foot ceilings and two walls of windows.

The dining room is very large with one wall of windows providing great light during the day.

The master bedroom is huge by 1920's standards thanks to an addition in the early 90's. Plenty of room for a king size bed and unheard of closet space for a 1920's house.

The second bedroom was also part of the remodel and has a lot of space and another huge closet which is currently set up with a built in changing table, lots of shelves with plenty of room for hanging.

The third bedroom is a cozy space, perfect for an office or child's bedroom. We've used it for both. In the closet you'll find a stairway to the attic which is great for storage and ready to be finished. Would make a wonderful master suite.

The basement offers a pantry, a workshop area, tons of room for storage and a drywalled bright clean laundry room.
