Listing No. 19832

c. 1850 Greek Revival
Cambridge, NY

Beautiful Greek Revival

Formal Living Room

Historic Old Tavern

This home's age is listed as being built in the mid 1800's, but upon inspection, it is obvious that the original part of the house was much older, possibly around the late 1700's. The road that this house is on was originally a local Turnpike and many old timers in the area say that this house was used as a Tavern for travelers.

The original hand hewn exposed beams in the kitchen over a modern center island give the atmosphere of tavern, but with all the modern conveniences. The antique wide plank floors throughout the house are orginal and newly finished in the formal living room/parlor and have held up to generations of family gatherings.
