100% Potential

The house was built in 1927 and the original blueprints and architect's notes are still in the house. The house sits on a double lot just over a half acre in Youngstown's historic Crandall Park district. The french doors of the living room and an upstairs bedroom open to a view of the park just across the street. The house in on a major public transportation bus route and is less than two miles from Youngstown State University, downtown shopping and dinning, and two hospitals. The neighbors are great and the view is beautiful in every season.

Most of the original interior appointments are still in the house. There are some beautiful old chandeliers and custom made sconces throughout the house. The large step-down living room has hardwood floors and Philippine Mahogany crown molding. The inglenook has an over sized hearth set up for natural gas ignition. The hearth is appointed with Italian marble and Philippine Mahogany according to the architect's notes. The large master bedroom above the living room has a fireplace, full bath, built-in linen closet, two walk-in closets, and french doors that overlook the street. In addition to the master bedroom, the upstairs has a small nursery or sewing room, two bedrooms connected by a Jack and Jill bath, a maid's quarter with bath, and a winding staircase leading to the kitchen below.

Total living space for the first and second floor is 4,400 square feet. The basement has finished ceilings and cinder block walls. There is a large gathering room in the basement as well as a large laundry room, four separate storage rooms, and a bar room. The bar room has a solid cherry bar and back bar with a brass foot rail in front of the bar.
