My Old Kentucky Home

In the 1870's Dr. Kinney, the town doctor, built this charming home for his family. His daughter, Lorraine Kinney, lived in the home until she was 96 years old. The home was then leased for many years to another town doctor and later sold to the Smith family. The Smilth's lived in the home 12 years and raised their two sons in the home. The home was then purchased by John and Helen Wade. They immediately began the long process of returning the home to its' original grace and elegance, while preserving the gorgeous original woodwork, original hardwood floors, pocket doors, stained glass windows, 3 decorative ceramic firplaces, etc. The home is immaculately maintained and beautifully refurbished.
