Scott House
This historic Victorian was built by H.B. Scott, one time mayor of the city of Point Arena. Mr. Scott owned several businesses in the town but his real claim to fame was the Scott Opera house he built and opened in 1910. Mr. Scott was an accomplished musician. The Scott house was once a boarding house. The Scott house is located on a lofty lot looking down Main Street and is highly visible to all travelers of Highway One as they explore the beautiful northern California coast. Perfect location for commercial endeavor. The city of Point Arena is enjoying a revival with many of the historic buildings and homes being restored.
