High Hill Plantation

High Hill Plantation is just off The Olde Kings Highway (now Hwy 261) in historic Stateburg, South Carolina.

The original mansion was built in early 1800's and virtually destroyed by fire in 1965. The present home was rebuilt as a true replica of the original built by Dr. W.W. Anderson in 1832. This geogious home truly depicts plantations people envision when they think of the antebellum south. Flanked by four massive columns and situated on a hill about 200 yards from the historic Kings Highway is one of South Carolina's true jewels.

The 145 acre grounds are adorned by natural scenic beauty with a stocked pond, wildlife, and hardwood forests.

High Hill is one of six plantantions featured in the Stateburg "Tour of Homes".
