History and Charm Combined
The main part of this home was built in 1770. Gracious entry hall extends from front of home to back. Hand carved staircase and bannister are the handiwork of itinerant carpenters. They also were the artists who created the sunburst mantels on both fireplaces and the built-in cabinetry in Living Room and Dining Room. It has been recounted that the Bonus Room over the Den was part of the Underground Railroad. The Rustic eat-in kitchen has large pantry and doorway to the slate floor screen porch which overlooks the pretty yard. Historic Designation offers this home protections but comes with no restrictions!Oversized detached two car garage (formerly called "The Barn") boasts huge room over it and equally large space attached to it. Separate Electric & plumbing lines are in place for this structure.
