Live in History. One of the twin houses of Cabin Point, this early Colonial house is a piece of American history in the making. Although outside renovations have been completed, this rare example of turn-of-the-18th century architecture, has an unreconstructed, authentic feel.
The house is set on an English basement and retains much of its original woodwork, including all the flooring and wainscoting.
This house and its restored twin are in Kornwolf's Guide to the Buildings of Surry and this house is also featured in George Tucker's Virginia Supernatural Tales.
