Situated on 3/4 acre, this Watertown brick Victorian was built by prominent businessman, school commissioner and civic leader, Marshall John Woodard, founder of the Woodard & Stone Cracker Co., later sold to the National Biscuit Co. Little has been changed on the exterior of the home since it was built in the 1870s. The home is part of the North Washington Street Residential Historic District.
Historic brick Victorian home is symbolic Queen Anne era with classical details in corbels, dentals and pierced tracery in the barge boards, and typical overhanging gables with corbels. Columns set off the Palladian windows in the front gable. Home was built by prominent businessman, Marshall J. Woodard, and is located in the Residential Historic District.
