About The House

A beautiful, 2-story, 2559 square foot home located in Edgefield County offering privacy and comfort. This house was built circa 1910 on approximately 1.68 acres, and has been totally updated with all modern amenities. Yet, much of the charm associated with turn-of-the-century design remains.

You will love the beautiful heart pine floors, crown molding, large rooms, high ceilings, and the great tin roof. Yet, you can still have the upgrades found in new homes. Outside, there’s a “rocking-chair” porch on the front and a swing that stays. The driveway (which IS Long Meadow Lane) ends behind the house at the carport. Here steps go up to the fantastic, covered porch that overlooks a large wooded area. It’s not uncommon to see raccoons and deer.

Attached to this covered porch is the open deck that nestles up to the above ground pool. All pool equipment and a polaris are included.

Outside storage? A separate storage “shed” sits to the side of the carport and there is great, dry storage under the covered deck (great potting area). Under the pool deck is a great place for lawn equipment.
